I thought the Migraines were stress related

I feel it important to get information out to anyone going through this.

I was having headaches (migranes for years), however they were very stabbing and came out of nowhere. My Primary Care Dr set me up for an MRI. I figured since I am in Human Resources (Personnel) it was stress related. My appointment was 5/30/03.

I received a call from my PCP saying that I had an aneurysm in my internal cartoid artery of 8mm X 5mm. Of course this set me on my ear as I had never been sick.

I had an excellent Dr. His name is Thomas Forget, Jr. In St. Louis MO. Apparently one of the best Interventional Neuroradiolocal Surgeons. He came from St. Louis University. Here is his information for anyone that is gettting ready to go through coiling. He made me feel so at ease at a time that I was scared to death. 314-569-6364.

I am five days post op now and will answer emails, KARIKUNZELMANN@aol.com, especially the ones like me that were so ignorant of what was happening. These groups are important for hope.
